About Us
We started focusing on political issues after we graduated from college. Our focus was on Washington, D.C. and what we needed to change there. Then our Governor - Don Sundquist - decided that the Great State of Tennessee needed an income tax. Our focus turned a little closer to home and we participated in the Great Honk-A-Thon of 2001 and 2002.
After becoming more involved and caught up on the concerns of what America and Tennessee were doing, we realized that we needed to bring the revolt even closer to home. The Mayor and Commissioners of Dickson County decided that they needed to impose a $20 increase to the wheel tax. To all those out there that do not know, a wheel tax is what would, in other states, be called vehicle registration.
If you look around this website, you will be able to find past county budgets, the current budget, where and how and by whom the county money is being spent.
