I. Public Hearing on Rezoning Request
Several Plots off Route 96 were asked to be rezoned from Agricultural to Commercial. Several residents spoke against this and the developers spoke for. Request Denied 11-0
II. 2nd Reading on Rezoning Request
I believe this was also denied.
III. Resolutions
1. Amendments to the General Fixed Assets Policy & Procedures

2. Lease for copier for the UT Extension Office
Yes
3. Pack Road extension to be accepted as county-maintained road

IV. Appointments, Elections, and Notaries
1. Appointment to Dickson County Airport Authority
Buford Reed appointed to a 4 year term
2. Notaries
Of the 9 requests for Notaries - 4 new/5 repeats - all passed
3. Discussion on Wheel Tax - Commissioner Wetterau
Commissioner Wetterau requested this be stricken from agenda pending the certification of the Wheel Tax Petitions by Luanne Greer. Mayor Frazier will notify the Commissioners ASAP after petition certification. Notice will be given via radio and - hopefully - newspaper of the special meeting. They are required to give 3 days public notice in certain venues before holding the meeting. Their objective is to discuss this as soon as possible to discuss the wheel tax issue prior to the next working session scheduled on Monday, Dec 6, 2004 @ 7pm.
V. Announcements
1. Monday, December 6th, 2004 @ 7:00 p.m. will be the next Working Sessions
ADDED : Discussion regarding the privatization of the Jail through CCA. Motion to use the Estes Property as a base line so CCA could quote a per diem price. This was only for the purposes of obtaining a quote. 6 yes / 3 no - Motion failed (needed a 2/3 majority to pass) Mr. Loggins asked if anyone did have suggestions for the next step in the County Jail Question. Next step currently pending. Update to follow...
