Notice of wheel tax referendum

We, the undersigned election commissioners of Dickson County, Tennessee, hereby call an Election to be held in the eighteen voting precincts of Dickson County on Thursday, January 20, 2005, between the hours of 7AM and 7PM for the purpose of voting whether or not to increase the wheel tax by $20 for each motor driven vehicle, the owner of which resides in Dickson County.

THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE will be December 21, 2004.

EARLY VOTING WILL BEGIN on January 4, 2005 in Charlotte.  Early voting will begin in Dickson on January 5, 2005 at the Senior Citizens Building and will be held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 till 3:30 until January 14, 2005.  In Charlotte early voting will be in Charlotte Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm until January 15th.  There will be voting on Saturdays January 8 & 15 in Charlotte until noon.
